Amidst the current crisis the country is facing against COVID-19, it is a relief that local government units are doing their part to give assistance to their people. Giving financial aid is the most common among these LGUs.
School teachers in General Luna, Quezon Province have received a P2,000 each cash aid from their local government unit.
Municipal Mayor Matt Florido shared this on his social media account which gained appraisal and positive responses in their province.
"Mabilis na tumugon sa ating kautusan ang Local Finance, natapos agad ang payroll at mga kailangang dokumento. Napirmahan ko na ang mga cheke para sa ating mga teachers (Php 2,000 each), BHW, BNS at Tanod Php (1,000 each). Thank you everyone! ❤❤❤"

Teachers in General Luna expressed their gratitude towards this assistance from their LGU and said that it is truly remarkable and suggested that it should also be done by other municipalitites.
