The Department of Education reported that the current number of enrollees, as of June 11, 2020, for the school year 2020-2021 is now almost 10 million, 9,961,396 to be exact.
This enrollment figure includes Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as enrollees from the Alternative Learning System and non-graded learners with disabilities.
In the report, 9,642,105 enrollees came from the public schools, and 314, 029 were from private schools.
DepEd has now almost 10M enrollees nationwide for SY 2020-2021
