Effective lesson planning allows teachers to differentiate their instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Without a plan, it becomes difficult to address different learning styles, abilities, and interests in the classroom. Students who require additional support or extension activities may not receive the necessary attention, leading to unequal learning opportunities.
Without a plan, teachers may deliver instruction in an inconsistent manner. Each class may receive different information or experience different activities, leading to a lack of continuity and coherence in learning. Inconsistent instruction can also make it challenging for students to follow along and build upon previous knowledge.
